Oncology Pharmacist – Hospital Based - Somerset

Evergood Associates are currently working with a private client based in East Midlands in recruiting for locum Oncology Pharmacists to work on a short term contract within our client's hospital. They are looking for new locum Oncology Pharmacists to cover a short term contract The site can either offer accommodation for the worker or have the rates ring fenced to BH rates (one or the other).

Pharmacists - Duty & Assessment overview

As a Pharmacist for Oncology Services, you'll:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services at The Cancer Centre.
• Lead the pharmacy service, including dispensary services, aseptic production, and inpatient/outpatient services.
• Review patients in the chemotherapy day unit and Haematology/Oncology Ward.
• Liaise with Consultants and oversee governance surrounding SACT prescribing.
• Collaborate with CNSs, Resident Doctors, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Manage and develop the Pharmacy team.
• Work closely with the Deputy Pharmacy Manager and represent the pharmacy within and outside the hospital.

If you have experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, Oncology Pharmacist, Haematology Pharmacist, Senior Pharmacist, or Pharmacy Manager, this role could be a perfect fit for you. Your expertise in pharmacy services and leadership will be highly valued in this position.
